Family Resource Center

The Family Center, serving both Central and Tollesboro Elementary Schools, supports students and families by removing non-academic barriers to learning and promoting academic success. We offer services such as childcare resources, family education, health referrals, and community connections tailored to the needs of our school communities. Through strong partnerships and inclusive programs, The Family Center fosters student well-being, encourages family engagement, and helps every child reach their full potential.

Family Resource Centers serve children through age 12:
  • Dollars & Sense/Read Across America
  • Provide Educational Assemblies
  • Basic Needs Referrals
  • Health Service Referrals 
  • Clothing Closet
  • Community Service Projects
  • Drug/Alcohol Awareness
  • Angel Tree Project/Shop with Cop

Tuesday- September 17th, 2024
Tuesday- November 19th, 2024
Tuesday- January 14th, 2025
Tuesday - March 11th, 2025
Tuesday - May 13th, 2025
The Center Advisory Council shall meet the 2nd Tuesday of every other month at 11:00 a.m. Meetings are subject to be held on alternative dates due to school calendar, Center/school functions, or inclement weather.
