As many of you are aware, Lewis County High School has recently lost one of our students in a fatal car crash.
School staff, including counseling personnel, have been available to all our students since the accident occurred. When unexpected traumatic events like this happen, students and staff react in different ways. It is important to have support available at school and at home to assist students in need. If you feel your child is in need of special assistance or is having a great deal of difficulty coping, please do not hesitate to call the high school.
Thank you for your support of our school system as we work together to cope with our loss. Please feel free to call if you have any concerns or questions regarding your child.
