On Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 9:00 am, the Lewis County High School will be holding our 23rd annual Veterans Day Ceremony. Our ceremony is one of the most important public gatherings that LCHS holds. The JROTC cadets will conduct the ceremony, call veterans, greet them in, honor the nation’s flag with a color guard, and do the fallen soldiers table ceremony.

Lewis County, KY: On September 18, 2021, the Lewis County JROTC rifle team traveled to Camp Perry in Port Clinton, Ohio to attend the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) Monthly air rifle match. Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Kaylee Lott, Cadet Major Nadilee Buckler, Cadet Major Kendra Ashcraft, Cadet Command Sergeant Major Alexa Arnold, and Cadet Private Kaitlynn Arnold all made the long five-hour trip there.
On Thursday, September 23 at 6:00, Lewis County High School will be hosting a Financial Aid Information Session for senior parents. This session will be very beneficial for parents who need information on FAFSA and other forms of financial aid for college. This will be held in the LCHS auditorium. All seniors and their parents are encouraged to attend. All attendees must wear a mask and bring your own paper and pen for notes.
