- Juniors and Seniors are
currently preparing for the upcoming KOSSA assessment in Feb.

KOSSA
We are in the 11th year of
administering the
Kentucky Occupational Skill Standards Assessment. The assessment
is designed to ensure and measure vocational/technical skill attainment
for secondary career and technical education students.
All senior technical students are encouraged to take the assessment.
Students
may earned
college credit through Maysville Community College.
The Foster Meade CTC and
Maysville Community & Technical College have teamed up to offer dual
credit
opportunities for those junior and senior taking secondary technical
classes. Students may earn up to six hours of credit per
semester.
Industrial Program Assessment
Carpentry, Computer Aided
Drafting and Welding
education teachers will be receiving a state technical visit, fall of
2009. The purpose of the visit is to assist teachers in
preparing for the bi annual state program assessment. .
Medicaid Nurse
Aid Students
Medicaid Nurse Aid Students are required to complete clinical hours
at the Golden Living nursing home before taking state Medicaid Nurse
Aid test.
